2027 Board Directors will be automatically registered upon election certification. 

Basic Orientation: 

It’s important to provide important information to new and existing board members about the organization and their individual and collective roles and responsibilities as directors of the association. Grounding your board in principles of good governance can go a long way to building a strong and healthy board of directors. 

Membership Recruitment: 

Growing membership is an ongoing focus, whether you’re just figuring out where to start, planning a membership drive or simply want to help your members get more comfortable asking prospects to join. Schedule a training program for your membership committee, board, or other volunteers. These programs could be used to generate new ideas at a membership committee meeting or serve as the catalyst to get a committee reengaged or launched for the first time.

Membership Retention:

NAHB’s retention training is a program that dives into successful retention strategies and uncovers ways to keep engagement alive and your members coming back for years to come. It’s a great fit for staff along with their board of directors, membership committees, and other member leaders.

Speak with Confidence:

Effectively delivering important messages to audiences large or small is a critical component of any association leadership position. This program will take you through the dos and don’ts of addressing crowds both large and small.
