Gretna Fest is a culture festival in Gretna, Louisiana. The festival offers live music from local, national, and international acts, food, arts & crafts, games, and much more. The festival started in 1994 as a small community event. It has since grown to become one of the largest festivals in Louisiana.
Shuttles are available from park and ride locations at Oakwood Shopping Center and Jefferson Parish Public School System building on Manhattan.
The Gretna-Canal Street ferry service will leave Canal Street at the top of the hour and depart Gretna at the bottom of the hour. Friday 4:00pm Saturday 11:00am Sunday 11:00am The last ferry boat leaves each day 30 minutes after the fest closes. The ride is $2.00 each way or $4.00 round trip. The ferry is operated by the Regional Transit Authority. The Fest does not control ferry pricing. * Hours subject to change.
