Join us for a fun and flavorful morning as we indulge in the area’s most beloved King Cakes. Professional Women in Building Council members will bring an array of delicious cakes for everyone to sample, and you’ll get to vote for the Crowd’s Favorite King Cake of 2026!

This event welcomes all members and prospective members to network, enjoy the season’s sweetest treats, and connect with others in a lively and festive atmosphere. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the best time of the year with us!

Saran Bynum

aka Babydoll Chyna Doll

A native New Orleanian, film director and producer, Saran Bynum joined the Babydoll tradition in 2004 and continues to keep this powerful cultural legacy alive through her group, Southern Charm Babydollz.

Following Hurricane Katrina, Saran remained dedicated to “baby dolling” in the streets of New Orleans. A mentor and multidisciplinary artist, she teaches umbrella-making at RicRACK NOLA and serves on the Friends of Treme board, helping to produce parades and festivals that celebrate and preserve New Orleans culture.

The yellow dress, designed and worn by Saran Bynum, honors her Asian heritage through vibrant red and yellow elements. The handmade bow, a Babydoll signature, reflects her artistry and unwavering dedication to keeping New Orleans traditions alive for future generations.
